Boscolo Hotel has set up an exclusive series of events in its lobby from May 14 to May 19, all revolving the beautiful rose flowers by David Austin, sponsored by Flora 2000 Green Group.

There will be an exhibition of these majestic flowers, as well as a workshop on centerpiece making with an esteemed flowers designer on May 14 from 10am to 6pm. At the end of this exclusive course, an inauguration cocktail will take place until 8pm.

On May 16 the guests will be welcomed by a conference and an elegant English Tea, to discover the uses, details and historic background of Austin’s roses.

Shake Your Summer at The Park Bar

Starting May 8th, The Park Bar of the Park Hyatt Hotel in Milan will be offering 5 themed lessons to learn the craft of making cocktails the fun way.

Each session is 2 hours long, from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. Each class for amateur mixologists is open for 8 people and focuses on a different drink, which will be taught by Andrea Rella, the talented bar manager. The entrance fee is 70 € for one night, 300 € for all the classes. One free drink for the night is included, as well as an extra free drink voucher for any other night of the year.

Tasting of Italian Artisanal Flavors at the Hilton

Named after the famous Milanese footballer Giuseppe Meazza, the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium (San Siro) is the largest stadium in Italy and the third in Europe. All seats are covered in this three-tiered structure which has a capacity of 80,074 and is the home stadium of two of the three most successful Italian Football League clubs: A.C. Milan and F.C. Internazionale (Inter). It also has a gift shop and a museum displaying all kinds of historic items from both Milan’s and Inter’s past: old jerseys, photos, boots, tickets and a fabulous trophy case. However, even better than the museum is the guided stadium tour which gives you a chance to sit in VIP seats and visit each of the home teams’ locker rooms. In summer it also hosts important concerts.

From May 1 to June 2, exhibitions, conferences, performances and tasting sessions will be dedicated to the 2015 Universal Exposition in Milan.

The “Expo Days. The world at a table” open on May 1, with a varied programme of appointments perfected by the Milan municipality and the Expo 2015 company, to meet all citizens’ and international visitors’ tastes and requirements. Anticipating what will happen from May 1st to October 31st 2015, the theme “Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life” will be in the centre of the month dedicated by the city to the Universal Exposition. Food, nutrition and Made in Italy will become original and unedited material for meditation and examination in various contexts, from theatres to museums.
