Jewel-Sculptures by Pilgiò

Pilgiò
| April 2012

Master goldsmith Antonio Piluso crafts emblematic jewellery based on a working technique known as ”Oro Muto” (Mute Gold), a process that gives this precious material a rough, spongy appearance achieved thanks to special oxidation procedures and the inclusion of common materials such as iron, steel and bronze. Pilgiò jewellery – like the ring and earrings featured in the “Merletti” line shown in the pictures at the side – resemble clay, rock or sand, purposely devoid of frills or details to bring you timeless pieces that never go out of date.
