An exclusive installation by the Iranian artist and film director Shirin Neshat, entitled Women without men, will be held at Palazzo Reale’s Sala delle Cariatidi until 6 March. The multi-media installation presents the “never-seen-before” materials from which Shirin drew inspiration for the eponymous film, for which she won the Silver Lion for best director at the 66th Venice International Film Festival. On a long panel consisting of 15 screens, five installations co-exist, in an ongoing flow of images, sounds, lights and poetry.
