Located in a historic palazzo in the heart of Brera, 403030 Healthy Kitchen is a concept bistro catering to the needs of health-conscious diners. The locale offers a healthy, balanced menu featuring an ideal mixture of carbohydrates, proteins and fats, without sacrificing the pleasure of eating out. Based on an idea by Mariella Radici, and realized by Spanish designer Patricia Urquiola, this twin-level bistro features an intimate space where diners can savour the chef’s creations throughout the day, thanks to a fabulous choice of lunch, dinner and ‘Happy Hour’ options. There is also a breakfast and take away area.
The ground floor, outfitted with a single central table, overlooking the open-plan kitchen, is used to host private events, or is available for those wishing to socialize and indulge in a communal dining experience. The menus, prepared by chef Claudio Colombo Saverini, under the supervision of Dr Daniela Morandi, are based on the principles of the Zone Diet that guarantees the well being of body and mind. The venue’s extensive culinary offerings range from croissants, made from low glycemic dough accompanied by a selection of coffees to energizing fruit extracts and fresh vegetables.
More discerning diners can opt for low-calorie pizzas, salads, ‘piadine’ (wraps) or main dishes that change seasonally, on a weekly basis. A special option for discerning diners? REBUS, a creative, customizable cold dish, where more health-conscious diners can choose the size of their dish and their favourite protein, and leave it to the chefs to deliver flavourful recipes containing the right balance of carbohydrates and fats.
