About the concert
The Milanese temple of opera – Teatro alla Scala – and the association LILT Milano have joined forces to fundraise for those who are fighting against cancer. On 30 June, the Orchestra of Teatro alla Scala, conducted by Michele Mariotti and accompanied by Fabrizio Meloni‘s clarinet is the protagonist of a charity concert featuring Franz Schubert’s Die Zauberharfe D 644 – Ouverture, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Concerto in la magg. K 622 for clarinet and orchestra and Sergej Prokof’ev‘s Romeo e Giulietta, selezione dalle Suites n.1 op. 64 bis e n. 2 op. 64 ter.
The income resulting from the fundraise will be donated to the ‘Accompagnamento alle terapie“ project powered by Lilt Milano ain aiming to provide a transport service to the hospital or medical facilities to patients who are undergoing oncological therapies.
