Famous American doll Barbie is not just one of the favourite toys of countless little-girls who has accompanied their growth for the last 56 years, but is an icon following the ongoing trends, representing the evolution of women in modern society. ‘Barbie. The Icon’ is a fun exhibition for kids and adults comprising five sections and preceeded by the ‘Who is Barbie?’ preface section giving a highlight on the birth of one of the most famous dolls in the world. The more than five decades of Barbie’s history are described and displayed by seven representative pieces for each decade and followed by explanatory panels, explanatory of her evolution throughout the second half of 21st century.
Barbies of each nationality, job and dress according to the verious trends are on display, to symbolize her timeless myth, always up-to-date and appreciated by kids from all around the world.


The exhibition is on Tue-Sun 9.30am7.30pm; Thurs-Sat 9.30am-10.30pm; Mon 2.30pm-7.30pm.
