A unique exhibition displaying the pre-Columbian textiles gathered by weaver, print maker, and writer Anni Albers and her husband, painter, print maker and teacher Josef Albers during their life period in America on their forced exile during the Third Reich. From Mexico to South America, the Alberses collected local fabrics handmade by natives and created their own fabrics inspired by local geometric designs and South-American small objects, combining their interest in foreign cultures and innate-creativity.


The exhibition is on Tue-Sun 9.30am7.30pm; Thurs-Sat 9.30am-10.30pm; Mon 2.30pm-7.30pm.
