About the exhibition
A full exhibition revolving around the world of LEGO® bricks becomes the protagonist of the spaces of Museo della Permanente. Over 1,000 assembled LEGO® bricks highlight the transformation of LEGO® from a kid’s toy to tools to create true art masterpieces. Modern cities, historical monuments, as well as real and imaginary worlds, have been recreated with a colourful and creative use of small bricks by RomaBrick, one of the first Lego® User Group in Europe. The creations include the world and the adventures of pirates, forests as well as an ideal concept of a contemporary city, spread over dozens of square metres.
Into more details
Alongside the LEGO bricks buildings and sceneries, the exhibition also features 12 oil paintings created by contemporary artist Stefano Bolcato inspired by some of the most well-known masterpieces of history and transforming their protagonists into LEGO men and women. Moreover, thanks to a special partnership with satirical webpage “Legolize”, a collection of comic illustrations completes the display, alongside a holographic screening conceived by Display Expert.
