About the exhibition
Created by artist Lucrezia Zaffarano, in collaboration with graphic designer Matteo Carbonara and filmmaker Andrea Sartori, “Spolvero. Il Cenacolo rivelato” is a special installation paying tribute to the relationship between visible and invisible, to absence behind the presence. Inspired by the works and thoughts by Leonardo da Vinci, the project is the winner of a special contest ‘Milano da Vinci’, featuring the works of young creatives under 35 who used the new media to highlight some insightful details of Leonardo’s work. At first sight, looking like symbols of the Braille alphabet, ‘Spolvero’ depicts the preparatory sketch of Leonardo’s Last Supper, revealing the undercovered work behind the image eyes can see.
