About the Fashion Week
Held twice a year to follow the Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter seasons, Milano Moda Donna – the Milanese name of Women’s Fashion Week – is one of the worldwide leading events in the world of fashion and pret-à-porter. For 7 days, the city is bursting with over 150 events among fashion parades, showcases, presentations and site-specific events revolving around some of the most important locations in Milan. During the February 2020 Fashion Week, press members, photographers, buyers and professionals in the sector can discover the new trends for Fall/Winter 2020/21.
What’s on: events, special opening and… celebrities!
Many events-within-the-event enliven the vibrant atmosphere of Milan’s Fashion Week, powered both by fashion labels and by some of the trendiest venues in town. Moreover, if you’re a fan of celebrity spotting, it is quite common to get to see models, supermodels, fashion icons, designers and various celebrities moving from one catwalk to another or heading to parties. This is the perfect chance to take a picture!
How to take part in the Fashion Week?
Please note that access to the events is generally reserved to press members, celebrities, buyers and professionals in the fashion industry and require an official invitation from the various designers and brands. So, how to take part in a catwalk? Please keep in mind that there are not tickets which could be purchased to allow access to Prada’s, Dolce & Gabbana’s, Armani’s or the other most coveted fashion shows. The most patient ones can wait outside their favourite parade and participate by standing if the hall is not too crowded.
Please keep also in mind that the parades can be watched live or admired through live streaming via the website of Cameramoda.it
