More than 1,400 events, with more than 260 venues, 900 classes involved in 240 themed projects for schools. These are just some of the numbers of the 10th edition of BookCity Milano 2021, the widespread festival dedicated to books and reading featuring the participation of more than 13 Milanese universities and academies.
BookCity Milano is a widespread event dedicated to books and reading involving the entire book industry, from large and small publishers to booksellers and librarians, authors and translators, graphic designers, illustrators and bloggers, as well as students, teachers and readers.

The programme of the 10th edition aims to put into practice the ’15-minute city’, the vision shared by a number of urban planners that focuses on the word ‘proximity’, aimed at achieving a more liveable and sustainable a more liveable and sustainable city that facilitates access to culture for all citizens.
As for the previous editions, BookCity features a specific focus on schools, to promote books and reading among the youngest.
The programme of BookCity Milano 2021 features online and offline workshops and meetings, some of which are held in key location in the city, such as Triennale di Milano, ADI Design Museum, Palazzo Reale, Castello Sforzesco, BASE Milano and many others.
