About the event

The world of design takes over the city for the fall edition of Milano Design City 2020, a widespread event revolving different key locations and districts in Milan. Until 10 October, the city is all about design thanks to over 350 events amidst talks, conferences, exhibitions and installations taking both the online and offline dimensions.
The event revolves around the key themes of circular economy, sustainability and the re-imagination of common spaces, whcih are analysed in some of the various events-within-the-event.

What’s on at Milano design City

Among the not-to-be-missed events, lovers of interior design can enjoy the full event program part of the INTERNI Designer’s Week MILANO event, powered by the INTERNI magazine and featuring talks, conferences and debates in some of Milan’s best art galleries and showrooms.
Though this year’s Salone del Mobile.Milano and Fuorisalone have been postponed to their 2021 edition, the Fuorisalone has powered its Fuorisalone Design Edition programme, featuring a vast array of events dedicated to the world of design and culture, featuring both online and offline talks, webinars and round tables.
Moreover, design enthusiasts can participate in themed events revolving around the areas of via Durini, Tortona District, the 5vie and the areas nearby the Duomo. Other projects such as design contests for students and designers under 40, as well as for architects under 35 can be enjoyed at Milan’s Triennale and at Milan’s Order of Architects.

All events are open to the public and free of charge.
