About the exhibition
The massive bronze statue of the horse by Nina Akamu, hosted at the Ippodromo Snai San Siro and based on the drawings and studies by Leonardo da Vinci is the protagonist of the Leonardo Horse Project widespread project. Until 9 November, indeed, 13 scale copies of Leonardo’s horse, featuring the personal interpretation of internationally-renowned artists and designers are spread around the city in some of the most significant corners of Leonardo da Vinci’s Milan.
Apps and side events
Visitors aiming to find all the copies of Leonardo’s Horse can spot them all thanks to a dedicated VR app enabling them to discover all the secrets behind the works thanks to an immersive itinerary. Moreover, for all the duration of the exhibition, the Hippodrome hosts an anthological exhibition on the Battle of Anghiari, where particular attention is given to the studies of horses and riders carried out by Leonardo da Vinci.
