Different locations in Milano

The sweet aromas of chocolate and beautiful stalls displaying all sorts of hand-made decorations turn Milan into a winter wonderland for Christmas 2020. In the Winter season, indeed, Milan host a vast array of Christmas markets selling decorations, traditional food and hot drinks, as well as small hand-made objects.
Here’s a list of the marks that are traditionally held yearly in Milan.

Christmas markets are generally held between mid-November and mid-January. Please note that these are estimated dates. The official dates will be announced in the months preceding the events.

AF – L’Artigiano in Fiera, at RHO

CONFIRMED 5 – 13 December 2020, every day from 10am until 10.30pm 
L’Artigiano in Fiera is one of the most highly-awaited events for winter in Milan: a huge international event dedicated to arts and crafts. You will find products produced from every corner of Italy, brought to Milan by Italians. Free admission, very crowded on the weekends.

“Oh Bej! Oh Bej!” Milan Traditional Fair

CONFIRMED 5-8 December 2020, from 10am until 12am
One of the markets that best symbolizes Milan, this market is held in the days of Saint Ambrose, the city’s patron saint. In its stands, visitors can find a wide choice of food, handmade home decors and jewels, small leather goods, hand-crafted scarves and other accessories.

Mercatino di Natale – Duomo di Milano

NOT CONFIRMED – Genrally held between mid-December and 26 December
It boasts a wide choice of typical delicacies coming from Italian regions (mainly in the Alpi mountains areas and South of Italy), but also accessories, small Christmas-style home decors and gifts.

Il Villaggio delle Meraviglie

NOT CONFIRMED – generally held between mid-November and early January
Visitors to this markets can find many sweet delicacies such as sugar pancakes, cotton candies and churros with dulce de leche spread. Moreover it boasts various entertainment activities, especially for families.

Banco di Garabombo

This intimate space features a wide range of garments, accessories, home decors, beauty products and books entirely made in lands confiscated from the mafia and crafted in the safeguard of the environment.

Christmas Market at East Market Milano

NOT CONFIRMED – generally held between late November and early December
Visitors will find a pure East London-inspired market boasting vintage or second-hand clothes and accessories, old vinyls, antiques and jewellery, as well as street food. The atmosphere is also enlivened by entertaining dj sets.

Green Christmas

NOT CONFIRMED –  generally held on 7 – 8 December
Green Christmas is the exclusive Christmas Market offering the chance of purchasing small pieces of furniture made of organic materials, as well as organic beauty products, eco-fashion garments and sustainable jewelry targeted at the promotion of a greener lifestyle.

Darsena Christmas Village

Besides a beautiful floating ice-skating rink, Santa’s House and themed entertainment, the Darsena Christmas Village features a lovely Christmas market with wood huts selling traditional delicacies and small handmade objects.

ArcheNatale Christmas Market

NOT CONFIRMED – generally held between late November and early December
Located in Porta Nuova district, ArcheNatale features a selection of clothes, accessories, cashmere knits, vintage pieces, books, toys, design items, homeware, as well as a selection of traditional food. The featured brands include Brunello Cucinelli, cantine Rossella, cantina La Fortezza, Coccinelle, Coca Cola, Fratelli Rossetti, Hape, Hanton Champagne, Ken Scott, Luciano Barachini, Piquadro, Rubinia gioielli, Sambonet e Rosenthal, Save My Bag, all on sale at reasonable prices in order to support important charity projects. Indeed, the income from the markets will help the biult of 14 houses to host unprivileged mothers with their children.

Christmas Markets at Il Centro Shopping Center, [just 15Km from Milan]

Located in the external area of the supermarket Iper, La Grande i the Chistmas market at Il Centro hosts wooden stalls displaying a selection of traditional Christmas delicacies featuring ginger and spices, small objects and themed decorations.
