About the Fashion Week
Prêt-à-porter and accessories collections for men become once again the absolute protagonists of the Milanese scene for the Men’s Fashion Week (also known as Milano Moda Uomo). This means four days, over 25 parades and a vast array of presentations and special events to introduce the Spring/Summer trends for 2019/2020, featuring both renowned Italian designers and emerging talents.
Where to find tickets for the shows?
Please note that access to the events is generally reserved to press members, celebrities, buyers and professionals in the fashion industry and require an official invitation from the various designers and brands. So, how to take part in a catwalk? Please keep in mind that there are not tickets which could be purchased to allow access to Prada’s, Dolce & Gabbana’s, Armani’s or the other most coveted fashion shows. The most patient ones can wait outside their favourite parade and participate by standing if the hall is not too crowded.
Please keep also in mind that the parades can be watched live or admired through live streaming via the website of Cameramoda.it
During Milano Fashion Week Men’s, on Saturday 15 June in Piazza 6 Febbraio (Sempione district), starting from 6.30pm, visitors have the chance to admire an unconventional initiative by fashion designer Andrea Grosso, the brainchild of brand Age of Sirius. The designer, strong of his experience in Colombia has created the new DCMPSD (Decomposed) collection, inspired by the style of 7 different international artists ranging from Bruno Bordese to R&S Records. Pieces from the collection are up for public viewing during the special ‘Secret Theme Show’ on 15 June, while further details are top-secret and unveiled on-site.
