The ninth edition of Vogue Fashion Night Out, named on this year’s edition ‘Vogue for Milano’ is ready to kick in in the city’s most fashionable areas. An ‘out of the ordinary’ event for Milan when spotlights are shining on the city’s shop windows to announce the inauguration of Milan Fashion Week. This year’s edition features important changes and new-ins including the duration of the event, starting in the morning and going on until the early hours of the morning. Moreover, the programming will be as wide as ever, including photo exhibitions, fashion talk experiences, movie screenings, parties and a massive live concert. More than 600 shops will also get ready for the occasion with late openings (until midnight), DJ sets, cultural events and concerts. From via Montenapoleone to via Manzoni, from via della Spiga to corso Venezia, from corso Vittorio Emanuele II to corso Genova, including the entire Brera and corso Como district, designers and internationally renowned brands will display capsule collections and host one-of-a-kind special events. All income from the event will be donated to important charity projects.
>> On this occasion brands Hydrogen and 500 celebrate the 60th anniversary of the iconic 500 car with a new project called “500byHydrogen” with a new limited edition sweather, which will be introduced with a special cocktail party at Biffi Boutiques in corso Genova 6. The event starts at 5pm until 10pm.
>> It has been announced that Liam Gallagher (former singer to the Oasis) will be the protagonist of a free concert in piazza Duomo.
>> French DJ Martin Solveig is said to held a concert at the OVS store in via Torino.
>> Luisa Spagnoli boutique: master chocolatier Perugina Alberto Farinelli will create chocolate sculptures of the brand’s iconic items (bag, perfume, sunglasses) at the mono-brand boutique in Corso Vittorio Emanuele, from 5 to 10 pm. Participation to the event is free of charge, though many events may happen to be upon invitation.
