After the success of Iyo Taste Experience, the first Japanese restaurant awarded with a Michelin star, Claudio Liu welcomes his second Iyo restaurant in the city, in the futuristic Porta Nuova district. Located at the first floor of Torre Solaria, Iyo Aalto recreates a corner of Japan in Milan with two dining options that include a Sushi counter (Sushi Banco) inspired by the traditional edomae zushi in Tokyo and a restaurant (Ristorante Gastronomico). At the sushi counter, up to 8 guests can enjoy a special omakase menu prepared live by the two sushi masters Masashi Suzuki and Luciano Yamashita paired with a selection of wine, sakè and tea. The gourmet restaurant, helmed by chef Domenico Zizzi, combines technique, research and traditional Japanese ingredients such as mentaiko, nagaimo, yuzukosho and wagyu, updated by international influences.
