A new haven for meat lovers has just opened its doors in Lotto district (actually, re-opened, with a brand-new attire), where the former churrascaria Picanha’s used to stand. The name itself, T O P Carne, which stands for ‘The Outstanding Place‘, sums the all culinary experience up. Here, in an elegant and modern space in the shades of blue, green and grey, where marble, steel, glass, leather and velvet merge, precious top-quality meat cuts from all over the world take centre stage. A glass window nestles the various cuts in their hanging process, while top-notch wine labels are located in the centre of the locale in a dedicated panoramic wine cellar. Highlights from the menu by chef Fabio Baldassarre include picanha with mango sauce, tacos with chopped Fassona meat, as well as Jamon Iberico and first courses. Guests can choose between various meat cuts that include Tomahawk, Chianina, Scottona, Black Angus, Rubia Gallega and the exclusive Marengo from the Italian area of the Maremma, which can be paired with an accurate wine selection by sommelier Ho Tuan Minh Vaccarini.
