In the heart of Milan, the new Obicà Cusani offers a luxurious gastronomic journey that respects the simplicity of Italian cuisine. Located in an early twentieth century Art Nouveau building on the corner of Via Broletto, between the Brera district and the Duomo, this location with its cosmopolitan atmosphere offers a new catering formula that takes up the legacy of Obicà Mozzarella Bar. A brand that has always focused on the authenticity and genuineness of Italian products has thus successfully begun the evolution that from May will involve all of its 20 locations, in Italy and abroad. The new Milanese restaurant has thus succeeded in bringing the tradition, simplicity and purity of high quality Italian products into an environment that speaks of the future.

The queen of the menu is the Mozzarella di Bufala Campana DOP – in Classic, Smoked and Bocconcini versions. Dairy products also include Stracciatella and Burrata Pugliesi and Ricotta di Bufala to be tasted with Small Plates of cold meats, vegetables and hot dishes, as well as Leavened items such as Gnocco Fritto, Focacce and Crostini in different variations. An absolute novelty on the Obicà Cusani menu is the new Obicà Pizza dough, long leavening, round and baked in a wood-fired oven.
The menu also includes first courses, such as “Schiaffoni con Pomodoro e Mozzarella” (Pasta with Tomato and Mozzarella) and “Cacio e Pepe” (Pasta with Cheese and Pepper), salads, main courses, such as “Polpettine di manzo e salsiccia” (Beef and Sausage Meatballs) or “Burrata Burger”. Finally, the desserts, with proposals such as “Bonèt Piemontese”, “Tiramisù”, “Torta di Ricotta di Bufala e Pere”, “Crema al Mascarpone e Passito” or “Torta Sbrisolona”.
Obicà Cusani’s beverage offer is available both at the counter and at the table: the wine list includes a selection of Italian labels and combines renowned wineries with emerging local producers. Cocktails are made with the finest spirits, mixed with herbs and fresh fruit.

The interiors are designed as urban spaces ready to welcome a public in search of a moment of informal conviviality: from the bricks to the railings to the light bulbs, all the architectural and furnishing elements recreate the typical atmosphere of Italian porticos and squares with a design that focuses on the enhancement of materials. The space consists of a large, majestic main room with a mezzanine, able to accommodate almost 100 guests, as well as a Lounge Bar with 20 seats. The great novelty of the new Obicà Cusani is the meeting room on the upper floor, perfect for exclusive private events or corporate meetings.

The Summer Menu is just the beginning of a new chapter in the brand’s evolution, and tells a story rooted in Italian tradition and quality that evolves. Here are some dishes you absolutely must try, amid unexplored flavours, vivid colours and aromas that recall a familiar and an unusual Italy: Octopus with Lime Mayonnaise, Confit Datterini Tomatoes, Arugula, Bread Crumble; Salad of Tuna Fillets with Arugula, Purple Carrots, Black Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Taggiasche Olives, Yoghurt and Lime Sauce; “Spaghetti Neri alla Chitarra” with Yellow Tomato Cream, Prawns and Sicilian Pistachios Grains; Burrata Burger with Marinated Purple Cabbage, Peppers, Smoked Bacon and Avocado Sauce. As for the Pizza, an Obicà speciality, the proposal expands to include new flavours: Bufala DOP, ‘Nduja di Spiloga, Filetto di Alici and Burrata e Zafferano.
