by Giulia Minero

Milan in August is also about Italian cinema’s works of art. In occasion of Expo 2015, a display of the best Italian movies is on display at the Spazio Oberdan‘s projection room featuring ten Italian comedy “classics” projected in Italian and subtitled in English. Films such as Una Vita Difficile, Divorzio all’Italiana, Il Federale, Ci Eravamo Tanto Amati, Pane e Cioccolata, La Grande Abbuffata and many more tell Italy’s vices, virtues and contraddictions throughout the past century. This is an interesting way for visitors of getting to know Italian history and traditions through amusing plots, as well as refreshing during the hot summer days.
The program starts on 30 July and continues until 30 August.
