In the year of its 20th anniversary, Dodo continues to wow its loyal clientele with loads of surprises. To mark the onset of summer, in addition to its marine-inspired collection, the latest arrival on the scene is the palm tree, exotic and romantic
With its message, “you, me, deserted island”, Dodo’s new palm tree charm instantly spirits us away to the desert island of our dreams.
Made exclusively in 9kt rose gold, it is available in two versions: the first is the classic pink gold charm for nature lovers whose only holiday wish is to be surrounded by love while sporting a bikini and a sarong; the second, on the other hand, is more particular. Embellished by splendid tsavorites and a brilliant brown trunk it is dedicated to luxe resort lovers.
In Milan, you can find all Dodo’s playful collections at its monobrand store in corso Matteotti. A one-of-a-kind space, signed by architect and designer Paola Navone. The store has a young, ironic, poptouch that profiles the potential and narrative of this brand owned by the Pomellato group. The space spans three floors with explicit references to nature including blades of grass hanging from the ceiling, a wall of fake roses in red and pink and walls featuring stripes resembling lines drawn in sand.
Colour is represented the large red neon heart (the logo of the 100% Amore line) adorning the romantic polka dot wall on the lower floor and by red poufs accompanied by other chromaticmatter- like-figurative touches ranging from the sculpture-like lamp by a young Dutch designer to the large table shaped like a pod made from recycled wood.
