Located in the heart of the Quadrilatero, since its inception, G. Lorenzi has always been a point of reference for aficionados of shaving kits and related articles. Following its closure in 2014, its precious collections have now found a new space at the elegant premises of Larusmiani. Lorenzi’s sought-after collection boasting unique pieces including rare knives, desk items, smoking articles, toiletries and shaving kits is now featured at the Larusmiani flagship store renowned for its high-quality men and women’s apparel. The vast collection was put together in the 1930s by the founder of the eponymous Giovanni Lorenzi cutler’s shop and currently includes roughly 4,200 items originating from all over the world.
The Larusmiani brand was founded in 1922 by talented men’s tailor Guglielmo Miani. In the 1950s, in addition to the tailor’s shop, the company began selling fabrics, later going on to open its first concept store and showrooms, recently revamped by renowned architect David Collins, on via Montenapoleone. A showcase onto a world of ongoing research, where quality and attention to detail are coupled with the craftsmanship of bespoke tailoring, thanks to the experience of 40 master tailors and a history of more than 90 years.
