The historic manufacture of deluxe crocodile leather handbags has opened its first bespoke atelier at number 5 Via Sant’Andrea, in the heart of the Quadrilatero della moda. This new concept store features elements evocative of Florentine architecture, interpreted in a contemporary key, thanks to materials, finishes and colours inspired by Florence’s magnificent ‘palazzi’, and the picturesque jewellery stores lining the Ponte Vecchio. “The opening of our bespoke Atelier in Milan represents the continuity of our adventure in retail. It is a concept that we are planning to develop in target markets, including the USA and Asia,” explains Gabriele Bianchi, a Bianchi e Nardi 1946 partner. “Our aim, in both our Milan and Florence-based stores, is to provide the ultimate expression of bespoke fashion by creating only the highest quality bags. All our creations, made only with the finest leathers, can be customized according to our customers’ tastes and requirements.
