Inside Dolce&Gabbana’s Italian street market
To celebrate the advent of Christmas 2019, the Dolce&Gabbana boutique at no. 7 Corso Venezia has been transformed into a traditional Italian-style market thanks to a special setting featuring Christmas lights and decorations, conceived to celebrate the local folklore. From 16 November until 2 January, alongside the Ready To Wear S/S 2020 collections for him, for her and for kids, the store hosts a Christmas Special Ready To Wear Collection featuring a typical Sicilian cart adding a colourful touch to swathers, t-shirts, sports trousers and accessories. Brocade, sequin and embroideries in the shades of red and gold on black fabrics recalling the atmospheres and decorative elements of the festive season are also the protagonists of the Christmas collection for her and for kids. Moreover, for Christmas 2019 girls can find a brand-new collection of 4 dolls with looks inspired by the Dolce&Gabbana womenswear and makeup collections, reflecting the brand’s attention to details.
Eyewear and beauty
On this occasion, the boutique and the corner Dolce&Gabbana Beauty have embraced a new stylistic trend, recalling the atmospheres of a typical Italian house with special furnishing, flowers and Sicilian majolica, where a new fragrance for him – K by Dolce&Gabbana – finds its ideal setting, displayed alongside new makeup collections which include The Only One Luminous Colour Lipstick, the Felineye palette, and the Solar Glow, Secret Veil, Gloriouskin, Blush of Roses and Dolce Blush skin products. On the other hand, the brand’s eyewear collection has been enriched by two new limited edition sunglasses, for the men’s and women’s universe.
The food universe by Dolce&Gabbana
To celebrate the bond with the local food tradition, Dolce&Gabbana has renewed the collaboration with household appliance brand Smeg to create the ‘Sicily is My Love’ collection, enriched by the brand’s decorative elements and design. Moreover, Dolce&Gabbana celebrates pasta, one of the symbols of the Italian culinary tradition, by signing the packaging of pasta boxes by Pastificio Di Martino, decorated with designs and colours recalling the Sicilian majolica, and continues the partnership with pastry brand Fiasconaro to re-issue a special Dolce&Gabbana-branded pistachio panettone, plus new seasonal recipes.
