Feltrinelli Porta Volta Opens in Corso Como District

by Giulia Minero

NEW OPENING – The new headquarters of the Giangiacomo Feltrinelli Foundation in viale Pasubio (Corso Como district) has been unveiled. The complex includes the new building for the Foundation (a renowned research and study centre) located along the perimeter of the old Spanish walls; both buildings, which are owned by Feltrinelli, will be used to host a library, the archives, a multi functional room, a bookstore and a cafeteria on the ground floor. Measuring 188 meters in length and 32 meters in height, the style of this five-storey building is inspired by the simplicity and generous scale of historic Milanese architecture.
