Haigō Opens its Concept Store in Chinatown

by Giulia Minero

NEW OPENING – A new concept store combining a Japanese name, a Scandinavian design, a collection of objects by internationally renowned designers and a trendy location in the heart of Chinatown has opened in Milan. The name itself, Haigō, literally means ‘harmony between elements’ and recalls the philosophy featuring as the leitmotif to the three levels to the store. The entrance features an essential yet elegant style with geometric elements and black walls recalling the typical style from Sweden nestling small design objects for the house, as well as lifestyle items such as stationery, magazines and technology pieces. The different souls of design are represented by the contrast between the ground floor and the underground level, featuring rough cement walls and floors as well as unfinished design.
