A cult place for tech enthusiasts, Apple Store in Piazza Liberty is located just off the Corso Vittorio Emanuele – one of the most popular pedestrian streets in Milan. The architectural design by Foster+Partners (the same who designed the Apple stores in San Francisco, London, Chicago and the Apple Park in Cupertino) includes both a large public square and a store below. Towering over the space is a dramatic glass fountain 8 metres high that serves as the entrance to the shop and the backdrop to the large open-air amphitheatre staircase. There are two main entrances, both scenic: you can decide to descend the steps of the amphitheatre or walk through the double fountain. The store is located two floors below ground, but despite being underground, natural light enters the shop from the square.
In addition to the strictly Apple products, iPhones of various generations, AppleWatch, iPad and Mac, the shop offers a wide range of gadgets for the home, lighting and music.
A team of over 200 highly qualified employees, many of them from Apple stores around the world, are ready to welcome customers and provide in-depth sessions: meetings that aim to bring people of all ages closer to technology in all its forms, from the more artistic such as music or photography to the more technical, programming and software development.
