Now You Can Live the Last Supper Experience, with Leonardo3

by Stefania Vida

The innovative multi-media exhibit Leonardo3 – Il Mondo di Leonardo never ceases to amaze with its new mechanical and musical exhibits. With more than 400,000 tickets sold, the exhibition dedicated to Renaissance genius Leonardo da Vinci has reached a truly important milestone. A success due also to the constant presence of Italian and foreign visitors which resulted in the organizers’ decision to extend the exhibition until 31 December 2016. Particularly noteworthy among the innovative highlights are several new world premiers including, for example, the Mechanical eagle: featuring an incredible 12-metre wingspan, it is the largest reproduction of a flying machine by Leonardo ever to have been built. But the list of new attractions does not stop here! The Leonardo3 study centre now also offers visitors the fascinating results of different types of research conducted on musical instruments: the Talking dragon, the Silver lyre and the Elastic drum. A unique opportunity to interact with Leonardo’s inventions using innovative, immersive media, several of which have been specifically designed for children.
